Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested the suspect on Sunday night. The visibly angry 66-year-old apostle also admitted that he is not schooled but will not go back to school because it is too late.

Ng’ang’a was charged with threatening to kill Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai. Ng’ang’a from the Neno Evangelism Church denied the charges and was released on Ksh.200,000 cash bail.
He had appeared before Resident Magistrate Justus Kituku at the Kiambu Law Courts on Tuesday.
In case you are not in the know, Pastor Ng’ang’a is facing two counts: uttering words that constituted as threats to kill Linus Kaikai and while referring to himself as the Chief General Commander, using words that indicated or implied that it was or might be desirable to bring death or physical injury to the Citizen TV journalist.
He further asked Kaikai to stop interfering with church matters or else he will face the consequences. “Mbinguni hatuendi na kisomo…kusema mtatengeneza katiba ya kufungia wahubiri ambao hawajui kusoma ni makosa. This is Kenya not Rwanda.
“Wewe ni news anchor, unaongea hivyo kwa nini? Ndugu zako wote wamesoma? Mimi sikusoma na mimi ndiye mwanzilishi wa hii kanisa. Ufunge mdomo yako, I am telling you, deal na ule bishop mmekosana,” he said.
(We will not need degrees to enter the gates of heaven. Suggesting that only pastors with degrees will be allowed to preach is impractical. This is Kenya, not Rwanda. You are a news anchor.
