List of Kenyan Celebrities who have said ‘I Do’ More than Once

It’s easy to believe that all celebrity couples have a fairytale romance, but many have admitted that their trip to the altar wasn’t easy. In fact, some never made it to the stage of their romantic journey. 

They were once in love, they wanted to take things to the next level, got engaged with their sweethearts, some even had kids, but things turned ugly along the way and they separated.

We’ve rounded up all the couples that almost didn’t end up together forever, and had at least one break up on the path to their wedding day.  We look at some of the top names in the Kenyan celeb-ville who dared not to stay in their marriages and relationships and instead walked out.

Anerlisa Mungai

The daughter of Keroche Breweries founder and owner tops our list of Celebs who were once engaged but fell out. The NERO boss has previously stated that it was all about peace of mind and happiness rather than the superficial life many are after and often get distracted by.

We saw her love with Benpol bloom until last month when he popped the question. It was only last year after her break-up of her previous relationship that she said, In a bid to lay the issue of why she is not married at her age to rest, Anerlisa revealed that she is in no hurry to rush into things because of societal pressure.

CMB Prezzo

Self-proclaimed ‘King of Bling’ CMB Prezzo is engaged. The Kenyan King Mswati, he got the name because just like Swaziland’s King, Prezzo has dated a huge number of attractive ladies. In fact, I don’t think any Kenyan celebrity has had a prolific dating ‘career’ quite like Prezzo.

Daisy Kiplagat topped the list since she was lucky enough to walk down with him on the aisle, but as always things fell apart. Michelle Oyola was the icing on the cake, she was believed that she was the only one that could tame the beast but it wasn’t the case.

Pendo

Pendo- Stacy Pendo whose real name is Stacy Brianar Brown, she was born in 1991. She is a Kenyan socialite, musician, actress, video vixen and model. She acts at the local reality show ‘Nairobi Diaries’ that airs on K24. She is a great vocalist who was crowned the first runner’s up in Mombasa Got Talent singing contest moved from Mombasa to Nairobi to chase her singing dream.

She tried a number of Kenya recording labels but the deal went sour, and since then she has risen to fame to become a socialite with lots of controversies. Latest news say she was recently engaged to a mzungu lover and later parted ways.

Lillian Muli

Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli in December last year declared herself single again following a bitter breakup with her baby daddy whom she has now labelled a ‘community husband’.

The news anchor gave birth in July to her second son with Nevaton. She has another son with her ex-husband Moses Njuguna Kanene. Lilian and Nevaton began dating after she filed for divorce in 2016 to end her union with Kanene after seven years of marriage.

J Blessing

Celebrated music producer Jibril Blessing alias J Blessing has been thought to be single for a long time, the popular music producer broke up with ex wife Chantelle last year.

J has now found his rib, he first introduced his sweetheart to his fans on social media during her birthday on October 20th. He is said to have dated Chantelle and Mwende Macharia.
