Days after parting with Fanaka TV, Media personality Terryanne Chebet has been appointed as the new General Manager at Metropol TV.
Ms Chebet has been appointed alongside Gikonyo Macharia, who will be the Head of Broadcast and commercials and Stephen Kimani as the Managing Editor.
The Former Fanaka TV CEO, shared the good news via her Instagram “Our young people need new heroes, such as Wealth creators, Entrepreneurs & people of integrity. I have formally left Fanaka TV in very able hands and I’m super proud to join the incredibly talented team @metropoltvke in delivering cutting edge Business Journalism. Data driven. Factual. Before her new assignment at Metropol TV, Terryanne was the CEO at Fanaka TV, Kenya’s first ever 24 hour Business TV Channel.
“Business Television is my life. It is with humility and lots of enthusiasm that I am proud to accept my appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of Fanaka Television, the first 24-hour Business Television Channel in Kenya. We will cover business and the economy like in a way that has never been done in Kenya,” Terryanne wrote on her Instagram pageupon joining the station.
She has also worked with Royal Media Services owned station Citizen TV as a news anchor.
