Manchester United supporters have slammed Paul Pogba over his comments that it would be a ‘dream’ to move to Real Madrid.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman flirted with the idea of linking up with Zinedine Zidane when asked about a potential switch on Wednesday.
Pogba insisted that it would be a ‘dream move’ for anybody before he committed himself to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s cause for the near future.
He told reporters on Wednesday: ‘Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.
‘There is also Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football. For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.’
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to both Real and their fierce rivals Barcelona and he appears to be a fan favourite with Madridistas following a poll from Marca on Thursday.
However, his comments haven’t put him in good stead with United fans who want him gone by the summer.
