Nairobi governor touches hearts after sending trailers of food to Turkana

“As a Good Deeds Ambassador, my team is repackaging food and other stuffs which will be distributed to Turkana County to save Kenyans who are suffering from hunger. I call upon other leaders to also do something and help alleviate hunger. The State has offered Sh2bn ton the drought affected counties.”

This were Nairobi governors Mike Sonko sentiments when he flagged off trailers to deliver food to drought stricken Turkana and neighboring counties that have been ravaged by drought.

The Nairobi Governor was appointed the Good Deeds Ambassador by an Israel delegation, led by Good Deeds Global Chief Executive officer Kaynan Rabino for his generosity in helping the needy for a period of three-years.

While flagging of the convoy, Sonko wrote:”In the spirit of nationalism,I have today donated relief food & other non-food items to residents of Turkana who are facing starvation due to the current drought situation. As the Good Deeds Amb , I’ll continue to offer my support to the needy & vulnerable members of the society.”

It does not matter where your wealth comes from, at least you care, God Bless you, Governor. Turkana Gov. Mr. Nanok gets more cash than you despite the fact that his population is less than 1 million, he should be ashamed of himself. Is Sonko a good deeds ambassador?
