The deceased identified as Collins Odhiambo Ochiel booked a room and spent the night with her girlfriend Donnah Anyango Nyambok at Maserena Lodge in Rongo town.
According to Donnah who reported the matter at around 4 am, the two enjoyed their romantic escapade and made love that fateful night.
However, the blissful night turned ugly when her lover developed breathing problem at 2 am after which she rushed him to the hospital where Odhiambo was pronounced dead.
The body has been taken to Rosewood Nursing Home awaiting post-mortem examination as police continue to hold Donnah who is helping with investigations.
