Late Amb Brenda’s great track record in her living life steps

Brenda Muntemba Zambian diplomat was serving as the Zambian High Commissioner to Kenya at the time of her death.

Amb. Brenda has succumbed to injuries following an accident that occurred at Lukenya bridge in Kenya on February 26. Her Toyota Prado collided head-on with a trailer as she was on her way to Nairobi.

Ms Muntemba was born in 1970. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Zambia and post-graduate degrees from Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, France, and Africa International University in Nairobi, Kenya.

She was a school teacher between 1993 and 1995 at Leopards Hill High School and was also a part-time radio presenter for Radio Phoenix and Christian Voice.

She was appointed Police Commissioner in the Zambia Police Service in 2011 by H.E President Michael Sata and later appointed by H. E President Edgar Lungu to serve as Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Nairobi.

She is also a renown author who needs no introduction in the writing world having released Off Duty, Secrets Unveiled, In Retrospect and The Architect.

Ms Muntemba’s books are motivational and inspirational. Her book In Retrospect is a work aimed at inspiring the girl-child to reclaim her worth and challenges her to reach higher. Through her latest book, she will continue to stimulate and encourage readers.

Prior to her appointment as High Commissioner, Brenda Muntemba served as Southern Province Police Commissioner and Chief Program Officer at UNESCO in Zambia.

She was married to Reverend Sulanji Andrew Sichilembe in 2006.The deceased had one daughter, Lukundo Mirriam Nachilembe.
