Prof. Magoha five key points during vetting that has proven Uhuru has a genius

House Speaker Justin Muturi who chairs the parliamentary committee has expressed confidence in Education Cabinet Secretary nominee Professor George Magoha during the vetting.

Prof Magoha went htrough the vetting on Thursday morning till afternoon and confidently answered questions from the committee.

Here is his key points:


Prof. Magoha on his role as UoN VC: In my mode of governance in UON, I exercised power. I might have not known when CS Matiang’i was fired, but I’m sure procedures were followed.

Prof. Magoha on sex education: Parents should take the responsibility. I’m a strong catholic and my faith is totally against it.

Prof. Magoha on Jubilee manifesto: I’m a full blown Kenyan serving the commander-in-chief of the Republic of Kenya. I’ll deliver more than the Jubilee government. I’m aware the President represents a party and we thank God for that, but I’m not a member of any political party.

Prof. Magoha on his relationship with CS Matiangi: I don’t discuss individuals in my life. He is my referee now. He is one person who suggested to the president that I be appointed the chair of KNEC. I didn’t look for the job.

Prof. Magoha on University fee : It’s not fair to increase university fee by Sh. 48 000, but we can sit down with students and agree on a reasonable increment.
