Miguna attacked for giving false information

The leader of National Resistance movement was hit out by his followere for claiming that ODM leader Raila Odinga was still fighting to enterr statehouse in 1992 General Election.

His sentiment was illicited by the fact that the visiting President of the republic of France was only 41 and young while Raila was old and still running the race to statehouse.

According to Miguna that is one of the major problems why the African contries will never move forward.

While taking to his twitter account he wrote, “When @RailaOdinga vied for the presidency for the first time in 1992, Mr. @EmmanuelMacron, the President of France, was only 15 years’ old. One ROOT CAUSE for Africa’s stagnation, decay and backwardness is the refusal of its despots to give way for fresh visionary leadership. “

In addition to his tweet he continued saying, “The retirement age in most developed countries is between 63 and 65 years. This is when the human mind and body begin to deteriorate and is least efficient. Memory loss and senility are regular afflictions beyond 65. Let us not fight against scientific facts and mortality.#JKLive”

However, his statement waqs not take lightly by many noting that Raila did not run for president then.

His twitter fans responded refuting his claim and accusing him of ignorance.

Here are comments from his followers

Jaramogi ran in 1992. Raila first ran in 1997.— Nelson Havi (@NelsonHavi) March 13, 2019

Omwami @RailaOdinga never ran for Presidency in 1992. He only vied for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat which he easily won by beating the incumbent and then cabinet Minister Philip Leakey. Facts are very stubborn though— Philip Etale (@EtalePhilip) March 13, 2019

How has Merkel retired? She appointed a successor who does not take over until when? So you are saying people like Bernie Sanders or Trump, Biden should not run? If the constitution allows Odinga to run, let him. Africa’s problem is lawlessness.— @kpmalama90 (@kpmalama1) March 13, 2019
