Meet this renown tycoon who owns the most luxurious Island

The virgin tycoon, Sir Richard Branson’s and business partner Brett Godfrey owns Makepeace private island on Australia’s western coast. It is located off the surfers’ haven Noosa Heads in Queensland.

It is available to hire for the princely sum of £9,200 a night, it boasts some of the greatest luxuries on earth. The swimming pool is one of the biggest private pools in the country containing half a million litres of water.

The island contains a main house with four bedrooms, plus three villas and a boathouse. In total it can accommodate 22 guests. Richard has owned this island for 12 years.

The island is named after former housekeeper Hannah Makepeace, who inherited the island from its childless owners, she died in 1973. It’s one of the planet’s most luxurious private islands.
