Patnership with France to boost Mombasa County’s Economy

The Mombasa County Government is now aiming at harnessing cooperation with France following a meeting between the County officials and a group of French investors at the Movenpick Hotel Nairobi.

Some of the county officials who were in attendance in the meeting include; the Deputy Governor William Kingi, CEC in Charge of Trade, Tourism and Investment Mr Rashid together with Dr. Godffrey Nato-CECM Environment, Trade CO Abdulwahab Mbarak and Investment CO Abbas Ilhan.

The French delegation is in the country for reconnaissance ahead of today’s official state visit by the President of the Republic of France H.E Emmanuel Macron.

During the meeting, the Mombasa County officials deliberated on other areas of possible collaborations.

As the county government strives to make Mombasa more attractive as both a tourist and investment destination, the officials believe that this meet up served as the very basis for harnessing cooperation for the economic benefit of the two regions.
