A section of Kalenjin community leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto have claimed that President Kenyatta’s fight against graft is not genuine and that he is targetting one community.
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi who has been fighting the president over the allegation sited that his partnership with ODM Leader Raila Odinga has attributed to him neglecting the Rift Valley region.
While speaking in his own constituency MP Sudi asked the president to stop victimizing the Rift Valley region because of DP Ruto.
He further added that, the President has decided to neglect the people who woke up to vote him in the 2017 elections as they displayed in 2002 and 2013.
“Haki yao wapate. Walikupigia kura. (The community deserve Justice since they voted for you Mr.President)”reiterated Sudi
“Tulikosea wapi?(where did we wrong you?) asked Sudi.
His remarks came days after Kalenjin leaders dared the President to fire cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich following his involvement in the ongoing dam scandal which has seen KSH 21 billion lost that was meant to construct Arror and Kimwarer dam in Elgeyo Marakwet.
