President Uhuru Kenyatta has today set twitter on fire after he sent a tweet in the french language.

The Head of state shared this tweet as a way of welcoming the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron who was scheduled to hold a talk with Kenyatta at State House Nairobi.

Upon the arrival of his France Counterpart, President Kenyatta tweeted

which simply means

I am delighted to welcome my friend His Excellency President Emanuel Macron of the Republic of France to State House, Nairobi. Kenya and France have a cordial relationship that has helped to stimulate growth in different sectors to the benefit of our peoples.

The two presidents are expected to discuss various issues of mutual interest and benefit to the two countries.

Meanwhile Kenyans cannot keep mute even when people mean serious business; tweeps jumped in with all the humor as some claimed that the head of state was either speaking in tongues or high on something.
