Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is at it again accusing the AU Envoy Raila Odinga for what he termed as sabotaging DP Ruto plans ahead of 2022 general elections.
While speaking at St Paul’s Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) in Kiambu Waititu said,that Raila Odinga was taking advantage of the March 9th handshake to destroy DP Ruto’s vision.
In his speech he added. “He has come to wreck the Jubilee Party ahead of the 2022 general elections. His plan is to discredit the party and President Uhuru Kenyatta in the run up to the polls and we as Jubilee members will be left looking like fools after destroying the good relationships we had.”
In addition he said, “All of us are now keenly listening to him castigate corruption as if he were a bishop. Why are we listening to him yet we all know he is a crook? We won’t accept as Jubilee to be taken to the forest by an individual whose behaviour we all know.”
Waititu further assured DP Ruto full support from the Mount Kenya Region.
The governor’s remarks came after the Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata made a similar declaration where he assured DP Ruto he had full support from the Central Region despite the rebelion currently facing him.
DP Ruto is currently been implicated in the ongoing dam scandal which has seen most of his allies mentioned for the loss of Ksh 21 billion meant to construct the Arror and Kimwerer Dam in Elgeyo Marakwet.
