March 9, 2018. One year on after that major surgery. Me chilling after those long walks in hospital. Let me encourage someone out there who feels like giving up. You see the Bible says, God knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. Now the first time i got a diagnosis of what had been bothering me for over a decade, shocked me. I googled. The first thing i googled was whether this disease had a cure. It doesn't have a cure but the gold standard of treatment is excision surgery. My heart sank especially when my doctor said to me, "Njambi, you need to leave this country asap no one can help you here". It was a long journey to find the right doctors. I never gave up. Now we had another challenge. Due to the constant surgeries, my organs on the right side of my body were moving to the left and my spine was moving left. A clear indication that this was getting out of hand. When you hear people say, they've had an experience with God, it's real. Nothing you can explain but experience it. Through His son Jesus Christ, i know that God loves me. He surely does. I've survived some inexplicable stuff that mind bogles doctors to family. I'm a true testimony of God's love, mercy and favor all for His glory. Whatever you're going through, grow through it. Don't complain and ask God why you? No. Ask God what shall i do with this challenge and you will realise the purpose hidden in pain. Endometriosis doesn't define who i am. Nope. It's just a process I've had to grow through. There are things I'd never have learnt if i wasn't here. I'm grateful that I've grown this far. Spiritually, mentally and physically. Have a great day. Don't complain. Pray and give thanks.
