Mike Sonko offers reward to individual who will help nab mum who abandoned toddler with tight rope on neck

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is infuriated by the cruel and evil act by a mother who tried to strangled a newborn baby before abandoning him.

However, the innocent and helpless newborn who had been abandoned by the mother in Nairobi slam was rescued by a good Samaritan.

The governor was especially enraged by the fact that the toddler was found with a tight rope tied on the neck, a clear indication the mother tried to strangle the little child before abandoning him.

“I have been saddened by a woman who delivered a bouncing baby boy and abandoned him after tying the baby with a tight rope on the neck, maybe trying to hang strangle him to die,” the governor wrote.

The governor has also promise to reward any individual who will help the police i tracking down and bring to book the culprit.

“The matter has been reported at Mukuru kwa Reuben Police Post Vide OB No. 32/9/3/2019. I strongly condemn this inhumane act and I’m offering a reward of KSh 100,000 to anyone who will give information that will help the police get the person behind this heinous act,” the governor said.
