Hazard explains what disappointed him the most in Chelsea’s late draw against Wolves

Chelsea needed a stoppage-time goal from Eden Hazard to salvage a 1-1 draw with Wolves at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Looking set to fall to their second defeat of the season against Nuno Espirito Santo’s team, the Belgian international stepped up when it mattered most as he found the bottom corner from outside the area with a brilliant strike.

The result leaves the Blues in sixth with nine games left to play, although they can move level on points with Arsenal in fourth on Sunday providing they beat Everton at Goodison Park.

Wolves have done very well against the top six so far this season and they made it extremely difficult for Chelsea to claim three vital points.

However, Hazard revealed after the game that one of the reasons why they didn’t win was because they failed to move the ball quickly enough.

“Of course we are disappointed,”said Hazard after the game. “We didn’t create a lot of chances and we moved the ball too slowly.

“The players are a bit sad because we probably could do better.”

“This type of game, maybe three months ago we’d have lost,” he added.

“The spirit is good. When we lost 6-0 to Manchester City, we said there were three or four months left and we have to try and finish in the top four.”
