Sad! The world mourns the death of a legend boxer’s daughter

George Foreman’s boxing daughter Freeda has been found dead at her Texas home. Freeda, who was 42, followed her ring legend dad into boxing and won her first five professional fights. She was found dead at her home near Houston, Texas by a family member.

It is understood there are no suspicious circumstances. Freeda, one of Big George’s five daughters, started her professional boxing career as a middleweight in 2000. She won her first five fights before losing her sixth fight in 2001.

Shortly after this loss she retired to focus on being a mum and other passions, including boxing promotion. Former heavyweight champion George reportedly did not like her being in the ring and pleaded with her to end her career; ”This is not what I wanted for you.”

Freeda was born in Texas and is one of George’s seven daughters. He also has five sons, all named George, and Freeda’s middle name is George as well. She appeared in a couple documentaries about her dad, and had a guest role on a 2003 episode of ‘King of the Hill.’

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, three grandchildren, her parents and 11 siblings.
