Raila Odinga’s Wise Advice to Uhuru that Has Caused More Tension in Jubilee

Why is it that everywhere Opposition Chief Raila Odinga set’s foot at, tension and Confusion must rise?

Is it that the Son of Jaramogi knows how to play his cards right?

The latest victim of a Raila Invasion is the Jubilee Party. A Section of leaders from the ruling Party feels that Odinga’s new found bromance with President Kenyatta is doing the party a great deal of harm.

Uhuru’s latest resolve to fight corruption has also been seen by many as an effort by him together with Raila Odinga to frustrate DP William Ruto by first cutting the wings of his close allies.

Raila has now stated that the Fight against Corruption is not directed to any individual as a number of people making it look.

The Opposition Chief has stated that he and Mr. Kenyatta are now out to settle personal scores with anyone and that they also stand to gain nothing personal in the ongoing corruption fights.

“Uhuru wanted to leave a legacy and I told him the way things are going, there will be no legacy to leave. You will leave a more divided country than the one you found.

“Raila also wants to leave a legacy. So we are not in this looking for positions in the future. We are not targeting anybody. This is bringing everybody together,” Raila said.

The opposition chief said corruption is a cancer that must be dealt with like the monster it is regardless of one’s political affiliation.

He rubbished claims by Deputy President William Ruto and his allies that he joined Jubilee to rock the party from within.

“Raila has never been in Jubilee, he is out of Jubilee as a member of ODM,” he said.

He spoke on Saturday during the marking of the first anniversary of the March 9 handshake at Serena Hotel, Nairobi.
