The legend boxer, George Foreman’s boxing daughter was found dead at her home in Texas by a family member. She is said to have committed suicide by hanging herself in a closet.
Freeda Foreman began her sports career in the middleweight class, winning her first five bouts before losing for the first time a year later. She retired with a 5-1 record and three knockouts.
She had previously stated her famous father was dismayed by her boxing flirtation. She said; “Dad never wanted any of his kids to see him fight, he always protected us from that world.” She gave up the sport to focus on raising a family and boxing promoter.
Freeda was born in Texas and is one of George Foreman’s seven daughters. She appeared in several documentaries about her father, and even voiced a guest role on a 2003 episode of the animated series ‘King of the Hill.’
Her Twitter biography description reads; “‘side from my love of family, being a good mother, wife, and friend, I aspire to make a positive difference in our American criminal justice system.”
