Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter says the government should not loosen its noose on the corrupt.
Keter who was speaking in Kabarnet town said corruption had robbed this country of immense resources that can be used to uplift the livelihoods of many.
Speaking in Kabarnet town during the official opening of the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) offices the legislator lamented that national revenue is not enough to full government expenditure.
Keter blames the current situation on selfish leaders whom he accuses of going for their own selfish interests at the expense of the majority Kenyans.
The legislator said the war on corruption should not be seen as targeting a certain community as it is individuals who stole the money to only benefit themselves and families.
