AU Infrastructure Representative Hon Raila Odinga has told off those who are constantly accusing him of interfering with the Government.
The claims that the Former Prime Minister is interfering with the government have in more than once been said by the Deputy President William Ruto and his allies otherwise known as Team Tangatanga.
But the Former Prime Minister has set the lanes straight. Speaking during the special Anniversary of the Handshake Between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Him, Raila has stated that he has no business with Jubilee’s government.
Hon Raila has however told off DP Ruto and his allies that he is currently playing in a league which is above theirs’:
“Saa hii nacheza Super League…hii ya nyumbani nimeachia nyinyi.”
Hon Raila has insisted and reminded DP Ruto and his team that he has no business being in Jubilee and that he is an ODM member.
Hon Raila Odinga has told them off that whatever he chooses to discuss is mostly what is viewed as of public interest and not Jubilee issues:
“Raila has never been in Jubilee .He is an ODM member.He is doing his things the way he has been doing them before. If there is anything else he is interfering with then it is in the public interest.”
On the prospects of the handshake Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans to continue sharing their views to enable easy implementation of the agreed issues:
“There are 9 critical issues in the MOU that spearheaded the handshake. We have also liberty to look at other things. Let Kenyans come and express their views on how they want us to improve.”
