Raila:Corruption is a cancer which must be dealt with

The former Prime Minister Hon Raila Odinga has again thrown shade into DP Ruto’s camp on the fight against corruption.

Speaking during the Handshake Anniversary where the country is celebrating one year since President Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon Raila buried their differences, Hon Raila said the fight against corruption is not selective.

Instead Hon Raila stated that corruption that Corruption is a cancer which must be dealt with:

” War against corruption does not target any individual or any ethnic community.Corruption is a cancer which must be dealt with in Kenya.”

These words come as most of the legislatures aligned to the Deputy President William Ruto claiming that their community is targeted. This is line with the dam scandal in Rift Valley where the money in question according to DCI is 21 Billion.

On the Handshake Hon Raila has urged Kenyans to come and continue expressing their views how to make it better:

There are 9 critical issues in the MOU that spearheaded the handshake. We have also liberty to look at other things. Let Kenyans come and express their views on how they want us to improve.

Do you think the Handshake should added to the Calendar as a National Holiday?
