Raila throws shades at Tangatanga crusaders, distance himself from Jubilee woes

The Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has thrown hard tackles to the Deputy President William Ruto over his claims that he is planning to break the Jubilee Party.

Speaking during the Anniversary of the Handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta in Serena Hotel Nairobi, Hon Raila has told off those who claim that he is interfering with Jubilee that they are mistaken.

Hon Raila has insisted and reminded DP Ruto and his team famously known as Team Tangatanga that he has no business being in Jubilee and that he is an ODM member.

Hon Raila Odinga has told them off that whatever he chooses to discuss is mostly what is viewed as of public interest and not Jubilee issues:

“Raila has never been in Jubilee .He is an ODM member.He is doing his things the way he has been doing them before. If there is anything else he is interfering with then it is in the public interest.”

On war against corruption Raila has insisted that it is targeting any community but urged all leaders to unite in rooting it out:

War against corruption does not target any individual or any ethnic community.Corruption is a cancer which must be dealt with in Kenya.”

Raila Odinga has also called on other leaders to view the country beyond their noses as the future generation will want to get something to be proud of after their political exist:

“This country must be bigger than all of us. If we agree that we are going to deal with a particular issue, then we can have something to bequeath the future generation.”

On the prospects of the handshake Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans to continue sharing their views to enable easy implementation of the agreed issues:

“There are 9 critical issues in the MOU that spearheaded the handshake. We have also liberty to look at other things. Let Kenyans come and express their views on how they want us to improve.”
