Police shot dead two gangsters after a shoot out ensued along Limuru Road-Red Hill junction. The gangsters who were in a white saloon car failed to adhere to police orders to stop and identify themselves.
The two who were shot dead were part of a four man gang, The two other gangsters escaped on foot according to the statement put out by the directorate of criminal investigation.
A Glock Pistol, Czeska Phantom, Czeska Mini, more than 100 rounds of ammunition and Registration plates were confiscated by the police who said the hunting for the two who had escaped.
