Raila renews attacks on Ruto using a “thief tale” on Dam Scandal

The Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has continued to attack the Deputy President William Ruto on the on-going dam scandal probe.

Speaking to the 6th Devolution Conference which is currently underway in Kirinyaga county, Raila Odinga has capitalized on DP Ruto earlier sentiments of 7 Billion as the only money in question to attack him.

Using a tale Hon Raila Odinga has compared DP Ruto to a running thief who is being hunted down by the mob. The thief feeling the pressure finds another person who looks feeble and also starts shouting “thief! thief! thief!” shifting the blame.

Raila has instead advised Deputy President William Ruto to leave the officers vested with carrying out the investigations to complete the probe in order for the truth to come out.

This is just a continuation of brewing exchange of words which has been going on for quite sometime now. President Uhuru Kenyatta has since been dragged into the fight with Oscar Sudi verbally abusing the President.

President Uhuru Kenyatta in a rejoinder, asked Oscar Sudi to report him to the DCI instead of preaching rumors in the funerals and weddings.
