Detectives probes Prophet Owour’s source of wealth

Many have been questioning the source of wealth of the founder of Repentance and Holiness Ministry church prophet David Owuor.

The self -proclaimed “Mighty prophet” is now under investigation over Dove Apartments.

The probe on the controversial preacher happened after the family of one woman Jayne Muthoni locked horns with the self-proclaimed prophet.

According to Ms Muthoni’s family, prophet Owuor forcefully took over the property worth Ksh1.5 billion in an elaborate scheme.

Detectives are trying to unravel the mystery of the account which has been receiving rent deposits from the apartments.

Family claim Owuor brainwashed their sister and took over her property

Since the family has been engaged in a tussle with Owuor, sleuths will as well as try to establish whether there have been withdrawals from the account and by whom.

Prophet Owuor was accused by the family of coercing Ms Muthoni to appoint Lilly Njage, a follower of the ‘prophet’, as a co-director in Shaba Investments Limited that owns and manages the property.

In her defence, Ms Muthoni told journalists that she noticed Ms Njagi was forgetful and took over her finances to keep her from being exploited.
