Wayne Hayer is a student determined to make it to class even with his child and luckily his professor is willing to even hold his young child, for him to make the most of his learning experience.
Fortunately, the student’s determination to attend class, was met with kindness as his lecturer Nathan Alexander a Morehouse College Professor even offered to hold the child while teaching. According to Bossip, images of the “unconventional classroom dynamic have garnered a lot of positive attention on social media, with a lot of people praising Alexander’s efforts to assist the student, Wayne Hayer, when he came to class while unable to find childcare.”
The heart-warming incident came about when Wayne pointed out weeks ago that he would have to leave class early to pick up his toddler. His professor, offered to have him bring the child to class; allowing him to get the education he so wishes to obtain. When it comes to how the Professor came to teach while holding his student’s adorable young baby, the Bossip report explains, “in the beginning of the class, Alexander noticed that Hayer was distracted with watching his child, which is when he offered to hold her, saying, “Hey, I’ll take her so you can take some good notes.”
This is not the first time University professor Nathan Alexander has allowed students to bring their children to class. Downplaying his extraordinary act of kindness, he said, “Teachers do this in their own way every day,” he said of those in his profession around the country. “This is what they do.”
