Why hasn’t Ruto Mourned his Pilot?

It is now more than 12 hours since news broke that Deputy President William Ruto’s chopper had crashed in Turkana killing all five passengers on board.

Ruto’s official pilot Captain Mario Magonga was the one flying the helicopter that also killed four American Tourists.

Now, as a man who often flies, Ruto must have spend enough time with Captain Magonga. In fact they should have developed a bond.

So Kenyans are surprised that the DP has not tweeted a message of condolence to family and friends of the departed pilot.

Isn’t that what good bosses are supposed to do? Ruto’s social media was quiet for the most part of Monday until when he Tweeted about attending the burial of mother of Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata.

Why has it been so hard for him to update us about Captain Magonga?
