What really transpired and led to the demise of star voiced Janice Freeman?

Stars are meant to shine as long as they hang in the skies until the day they fall from the galaxy and that is what happened to star singer, Janice Freeman. But what exactly happened?

The Voice star Janice Freeman shared a haunting Instagram post about being grateful to be alive just weeks before her death.

The 33-year-old singer died from an ‘extreme case’ of pneumonia and a blood clot on Saturday night after her husband Dion battled to save her. Her death follows a tragic social media post from February 4, where Janice said: “I should be deceased.”

She wrote: “I know for a FACT that with what happened 3 days ago I SHOULD BE DECEASED! BUT JESUS!!!!!!! I will Exalt and Declare Your praises until I’m standing in Your Presence! I love you Lord and I have Faith that today my Deliverance IS HERE!”

Days before Janice opened up about a ‘mentally draining’ three month battle with ill health.

Alongside a beaming selfie, Janice wrote: “It has been a difficult, trying, discouraging, mentally draining, etc last 3 months I have had to deal with in a very long time!”

“Remember you’re awesome, amazing, there’s only one you in this world….. ( You finish it!!!! ) I love you all,” she finished.

According to TMZ, an entertainment paper, Janice was at home with her husband Dion on Saturday when she experienced trouble breathing.

Dion called an ambulance and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.Janice was then taken to hospital where she died later that evening when a blood clot travelled to her heart.

The singer, who has battled lupus, cervical cancer and meningitis in the past, rose to fame after impressing on the American version of The Voice in 2017. Her former mentor Miley Cyrus paid tribute following news of her death by sharing a picture of a rainbow.

“Thank you Janice Freeman… for everything. This represents you perfectly,” said Miley.

While Jennifer Hudson shared a video of the moment she and Miley turned their chairs after hearing Janice’s voice for the first time at the blind auditions.

“Janice Freeman the voice of hers we got to hear and the bit of life we got to watch her live was a blessing and inspiration to us all!

“My heart and prayers go out to @janicefreeman daughter and family! @mileycyrus @nbcthevoice#ripjanicefreeman .”

Janice’s family described her as a ‘survivor and a fighter’ in a statement posted to Instagram .

She leaves behind husband Dijon, daughter Hannah, her mother Janice and brothers and sisters.
