NIGERIAN WOMAN ARRESTED AT JKIA WITH NARCOTICS

Suspected drug trafficker Princess Okoye

A Nigerian woman was arrested at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on Sunday after she was found with packets of suspected narcotics.

The DCI said Ms Okoye, 25, was found with 77 pellets of suspected narcotics, in packets that had been hidden in two bottles of milk.

CITIZEN CREW THEFT AT KIRINYAGA

Royal Media Services journalists, Stephen Letoo from Citizen TV and Waweru Nyambura from Inooro TV on Monday became victims of a robbery incident in Kirinyaga County. 

The two were in the company of cameramen and had gone to cover the Sixth Annual Devolution Conference at Kirinyaga University. 

The robbers made away with property including Macbook Laptops, PXW Cameras, Citizen TV branded microphones, bags, money, cables and hard drives for both Citizen TV and Inoooro TV.

The biggest twist to the plot came Sunday, when Mr Rotich confirmed in an advertisement in a local daily that nearly Sh20 billion has been spent as advance payment to begin building the Arror and Kimwarer dams, contradicting claims by Dr Ruto that only Sh7 billion had been paid out.
