Former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa has been fired in what seems to be incompetency. This came as President Uhuru Kenyatta reshuffled his Cabinet on Friday morning.
Echesa’s docket has been comfortably occupied by the former Education Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohamed whose earlier docket has been occupied by the no nonsense Professor George Magoha.
Over this week, several other high profiles has been sacked over incompetency.
Leicester City Football Club fired their then manager Claude Puel after he was smashed 4-1 by Crystal Palace.\
His Fulham FC counterpart Claudio Ranieri was fired later this week after been smashed 2-0 by Southampton FC.
Back in Kenya now, Echesa has been incompetent in the sports docket. Recently, when the Directorate of Criminal Investigations nabbed billions of fake currency and gold at a house in Ruiru, it was alleged that the house and fake currency belonged to Echesa.
