Manchester City will travel to Bournemouth on Saturday the 2nd of March.

City head into the game on the back of a 1-0 won over West Ham on Wednesday evening.

Man City struggled to break down the Hammers and eventually took the lead from the spot after Bernardo Silva was brought down.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, are without a win in their last four Premier League outings.

They are 12th in the table and were smashed 5-1 by Arsenal in their last match.

Pep on City’s next run of games

Man City are currently 2nd in the Premier League, one point behind league leaders Liverpool.

City will also be without both Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho for Saturday’s game after the pair suffered muscle injuries in the League Cup final.

With the title race seemingly going down to the wire, Pep Guardiola has insisted the game vs Bournemouth is like a final.

After Bournemouth and Watford, City will go three weeks without a Premier League fixture.

As a result, Guardiola wants his side to come back after the international break in a very strong position to continue their title challenge:

“We do not have too many players right now. It is the toughest moment of the season in terms of injuries.

“But, at the same time, we have enough players to compete.

“Hopefully we can make a good performance at Bournemouth and then we have one week to prepare the last game [Watford at home] in the Premier League for 21 days [before] focusing on [Champions League and FA Cup games against] Schalke and Swansea.

“That’s why it is a real final for us, the game at Bournemouth, to arrive [in a good position] after the international break when the people come back – like John, like Ayme, like Gabriel.”As quoted by AS.
