The Thika Township Member of Parliament is mourning the death of his security guard.
While taking to his facebook page Hon Wainaina wa Jungle broke the news saying, ” Life is short but great life moments are made when spent with real friends by your side.
It is with deep grief that I send my condolences to friends and family of David Njuguna, a foot soldier and dedicated person that served in my security team.
Fare thee well my friend.
#RIPNjugush”
Until his death Njuguna had been the MP’s private bodyguard since his election on August 8, 2017.
WaHon Wainaina eulogised Njuguna as a dedicated person who was also his close friend.
The first-time MP, however, didn’t disclose what caused the death of his security officer.
