For sometime, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and her Msambweni Counterpart Aisha Jumwa were all seen as a united force out to fight a faction called ODM.
The two got into the wrong books of the Party for apparently dining with the enemy, William Ruto.
They denied the allegationa labelled against them even as ODM stood it’s ground that they were in violation of the Party’s code of conduct.
Suleiman Dori would then meet Raila at his Capitol Hill office just a day after ODM’s disciplinary committee recommended his expulsion.
This meeting raised eyebrows with Mr. Odinga assuring Dori of a fair hearing.
Dori and Jumwa would then hold a series of press conferences together to show solidarity against ODM, a party they called oppressive and undemocratic.
They even hired Kipchumba Murkomen to offer them legal representation as they sought to appeal the Party’s resolve to expell them.
Dori would then go behind Aisha’s back and do a letter to the ODM Party leadership asking for forgiveness. His letter would serve to be his saviour as the party spared him from the axe as Aisha Jumwa was shown the door.
“Party NGC unanimously votes to expel Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa from the party. The meeting however deferred the decision to expel her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori following his letter of apology to the SG @edwinsifuna in which be apologised to the party for his rebellion.” said ODM.
