The Curtains have finally fallen on Sports CS Rashid Echesa. The man from Mumias has finally been shown the door by President Uhuru Kenyatta after exhibiting high levels of incompetence.
Echesa’s tenure as Sports CS was overshadowed with a number of scandals that saw him make a good number of enemies.
The CS is well known for using abusive language even in the public and is known by many as a bully.
His latest connection to the Billions of Fake Currencies and Gold recovered in Ruiru have all but dented his image even further with President Kenyatta apparently seeing that as the last straw .
It will also be remembered that Echesa once facilitated the entry into the country of some Eight Pakistani women who he said were on a Cultural exchange programme, claims that were later thrown out by immigartion department
Is the CS having a problem with his personality or is he just ignorant of the code of conduct that he should adhere to as a Cabinet Minister?
One man who apparently went to the same school and attended the same class as the Sports CS has come out to disclose details of the Cs’ behaviour back in the village.
The man only known to us as Ken Kwendo has claimed that Echesa dropped out of school at around Class two and that he is well known in Mumias as a bully and a crook.
“I was raised in Mumias & went to the same school as Rashid. He proudly dropped out at around class 2. He’s been well-known in Mumias as a bully & a crook. My expectations for Echesa being CS were clear: incompetence. It therefore comes as no surprise that he’s trafficking humans,” said Ken Kwendo.
