Unusual case in Kitui as bees attack specific families, kills two children

Two children in Kitui County died at a peculiar bee attack that attacked their home, leaving their mother in critical condition.

Locals have raised questions about the attack, claiming that it was an unusual ordeal where the bees only went after particular individuals.

“The way the bees reacted was unusual. We don’t know how they attacked the village. They were attacking selected individuals at a time and they were many.”

Adding that it was a bizarre incident as the bees were very violent, area police boss Anthony Kamitu said that the other was taken in to the Kitui Level Five Hospital.

The bodies of the two children were on the other hand taken to the Kitui Hospital Mortuary.
