Since Solskjaer took over Manchester United, fans’ awesome love was revived. The fans have expressed their much love for their new coach- his smile, tactics, love and his smooth talk. This was shown after their sunday’s match against Liverpool.
Manchester United and Liverpool played out a dull affair at Old Trafford on Sunday as the Red Devils put a slight dent in Jurgen Klopp’s quest to deliver the club a maiden Premier League title.
Liverpool now sit top of the table, one point clear of Manchester City, but Klopp knows his side should have taken maximum points,
Solskjaer was forced to use up all three substitutions in the first half of the match while Marcus Rashford played the entire match with a knock.
At full-time cameras appeared to catch Klopp saying “f* hell, what a s
** t game” as he went to shake hands with Solskjaer.
When asked about Klopp’s comment, the Norwegian replied: “Of course he’s not happy if they don’t have a shot on target or maybe one [shot].”
Solskjaer was right – Liverpool did only register one shot on target – and the Reds boss reportedly gave his stars a dressing down in the changing rooms at full-time.
And United fans are enjoying Solskjaer’s brutal ‘say it how it is’ approach in response to Klopp’s comments.
“Such a savage. Love it,” said one fan.
“Ole’s at the wheel! Tell me, how does that burn feel?” another said.
“The Baby Faced Assassin strikes again!” a third said.
Solskjaer has helped bring the smiles back to the fans and the players, as well as putting United back in contention for a top four spot.
The 46-year-old is in the frame for the job full-time having only been placed in interim charge since Jose Mourinho’s sacking in December.
