Tottenham have re-ignited their interest in Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon, according to TEAMTalk.
Sessegnon has been linked with Spurs on a number of occasions in the past, particularly when he was lighting up the Championship for Fulham last season.
The 18-year-old has found the Premier League slightly more difficult, impressing sporadically but struggling for game time throughout the campaign.
He was substituted at half-time in Fulham’s 3-1 defeat at West Ham United on Friday night and doesn’t seem to be considered a guaranteed starter anymore.
That said, Sessegnon still has plenty of potential, something Tottenham apparently recognise.
According to TEAMtalk, Spurs are interested in signing both Ryan and his twin brother Steven this summer.
The report claims Tottenham could sign both players in a £20 million deal, which is difficult to believe.
Regardless of Sessegnon’s inconsistent form this season, he is still a young, talented English player who is likely to command a huge fee when he does move on from Fulham.
It will be interesting to see if Spurs face any competition for the twins – if they are indeed available in the summer.
