Kim Kardashian marked the anniversary of her late father Robert Kardashian’s birthday in style. She took to social media with a decades-old shot of herself and the late attorney, who died from esophageal cancer at the age of 59 on September 30, 2003, about two months after he was diagnosed.
She wrote; ”Happy Birthday dad!!!!! This was my Sweet 16 and this is the moment my dad surprised me with my first car! I wish you were here so badly so we could have so many more memories!”
Kim had previously shared a video of the special day in February of 2017. In the shot, both father and daughter were beaming as a teen Kim looked at the automobile her dad had bought her.
She added; ”We are all missing you and celebrating you today!” Her older sister Kourtney also shared a throwback pic of herself at a school dance with her father, who was married to her mother Kris Jenner from 1978 until 1991.
She wrote; ”Father daughter dance 1993. Happy Birthday to the best daddy I could have ever imagined. Your love shines through all of us and we feel your protection.”
