Gor Mahia Proved that they are a force to reckon with after slaying a stubborn Hussein Dey to go top of Group D in the CAF Confederations Cup with six points.

The Algerian side arrived at Kasarani with only one thing in mind, get a draw. And they went down on every touch, making sure their hosts could not build up play.

But mercurial playmaker Francis Kahata put them on the sword with a well taken shot in the 83rd minute. And Jacques Tuyisenge put the icing on the cake with a sucker punch 4 minutes later.

Gor are now top on the log at the half way mark. But it is not only that. The team has scored seven goals in the competition, which is more than any other team in Africa.

Jacques Tuyisenge is the leading top scorer with three goals and he is followed by his fellow striker Nicholas Kipkirui.

Gor Mayenga Mayenga!
