How Governor Waititu is growing faster to become Tanga Tanga mission Deacon

Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu, who is a member of Tanga Tanga team has moved from just praising deputy President William Ruto to walking places with him.

Just recently, Waititu was in Kakamega with the DP for a Tanga Tanga tour where he urged residents to vote for the DP in 2022, faulting ODM leader Raila Odinga for allegedly plotting to block Ruto.

The Kiambu county boss had accompanied the DP for a fund-raiser event in Amalemba.

Over the weekend, Waititu was with his boss again, spreading the tanga tanga gospel. He on Saturday accompanied ruto to Karatina during the commemoration of the late Nderitu Gachagua, the first governor of Nyeri.

It is during this event that the DP said Jubilee administration is committed to changing Kenya’s political path that would see leaders compete on issues

He said the country is moving away from divisive politics started in 2013 following the merger of more than 10 political parties to form the ruling coalition.

“Kenyans had grown tired of tribalism. We had to come up with a national outfit informed by ideas that would transform the country,” the DP said.

Ruto was also companied by Speaker of the Senate Ken Lusaka and Governor Mutahi Kahiga (Nyeri).

Others were MPs Munene Wambugu (Kirinyaga Central), David Njuguna (Olkalou), Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu), Nelson Koech (Belgut), Caleb Kositany (Soy), Rigathe Gachagua (Mathira), Rahab Mukami (Woman Rep, Nyeri), Kabinga Wachira (Mwea), Jayne Kihara (Naivasha), Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South) and Rehema Jaldesa (Woman Rep, Isiolo).
