The recent wedding for NTV anchor Dennis Okari has continued to spark emotions on K24TV anchor Betty Kyallo.

Betty, the ex-wife to Dennis Okari, has slammed a Standard Group journalist over Friday publication by Pulse magazine that had mentioned her inappropriately.

Betty accused the editor Steve Muendo of faking an interview in a bid to make a connection to recent events (the marriage of her ex-husband ).

Via her social media, Betty explained that some of the information conveyed in the piece was from an interview held in August, 2018.

“What a shame Pulse magazine. You used an interview I did seven months ago just to make a story relevant now. How unprofessional and uncouth.

“Steve Muendo we did an interview August last year, but in this article, you deliberately decided to make it sound like we did the interview recently which is misleading and a lie,” she stated.

She further lashed out, “What a shame for a publication like yours. Desperate to sell copies by using my name.”

“Some of the pictures You used were from a recent event I attended, you referred to a trip and supposed relationship that I’ve never discussed with you,” she maintained.

She clarified that she didn’t comment on any of the issues published in the article berating the writer for betraying her trust.

“The last time I spoke to the writer on a professional level was in August 2018 during a previously recorded interview but he’s used that to fabricate a story relevant For now. Just unfortunate and disappointing,” she remarked.

In the article, Betty was alleged to have commented on Okari’s recent nuptials stating that she didn’t contact her ex-husband to wish him well adding that her wishes couldn’t make any difference.

“It was their wedding and their private day, not mine. They are happy and I don’t know if it would make a lot of difference if I tried to involve myself,” she was quoted by the publication.
