After Nakuru woman complained about Uhuru’s donation, the president opts to personally gift a 12 yr boy stunning presents at Statehouse

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday gifted a pupil who had recited rib-cracking poems on diverse dates at Thika Municipal Stadium in Kiambu County and at Kenol in Murang’a County.

Joe Githu Waithanda, 12, a pupil at St.Deborah’s Academy in Murang’a County had the rare chance to meet and chat with Uhuru at State House.

Among those rewarded by the president were a 33-year-old contemporary painter who also got an invite from the president due to his unique talent.

Teddy Muinami Mwae does paintings in braille that help the visually impaired appreciate art. He also provides mentorship to young people through his paintings.

The president also fulfilled his promise of a bus donation to Ngamia One Kochodin High School from Turkana County and Mukangu Secondary in Murang’a County.

He handed over the new buses to the schools’ principals during a brief ceremony held at State House.

The Head of State urged the pupils to work hard in their studies.
