Just days after Professor Makau Mutua hinted on his possible run for president in 2020, former presidential candidate James Ole Kiyiapi has endorsed Professor Mutua’s candidature as the best to suceed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
In his response Ole Kiyiapi, urged Makau to go for the seat while reminding him that his dreams are valid.

Makau further thanked the former candidate for endorsing him .
“Thanks to my brother Prof James Ole Kiyiapi. We are going full bore. We need to mobilize those who believe in freedom, opportunity, fairness, and a just society unencumbered by corruption and impunity, “ he said.

Makau is set to face DP Ruto and Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka who have also shown interest for the top seat.
