Professor Makau Mutua has declared that money for his presidential campaign is no problem.
His declaration came as soon as he hinted on his ambition to succeesd President Kenyatta come 2022 presidential elections.
Mutua further said that he intends to conduct a campaign in a manner that will win the hearts and minds of Kenyans come 2022.
He further pledged to change the politics of Kenya if by any chance he becomes president.
While speaking to one of the daily news publications, “We have extensive networks of clean and uncorrupted resources, both financial and moral. But that’s not our most important question. I don’t intend to buy the election.”
Makau’s entry into the race could complicate matters for Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo who hails from his community.
Both leaders could share votes from their backyard. Deputy President William Ruto could have an added advantage to beat Kalonzo upon the entry of Makau, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest.
