The Xiaomi Mi9 is finally out and the gadget is magnificent, beginning with the screen the phone is a site to see. The Mi9 features a 6.39 FHD+ AMOLED panel with a notch at the front and Gorilla Glass 6 on top of it. The Mi 9 has a gradient pattern design at the back which is something we have seen with other Chinese brands (Huawei, OnePlus etc) where the colours shift when you tilt the phone.
The main camera holds 48MP sensor with a f/1.75 aperture, a 16MP wide angle camera and a 12MP telephoto camera. (this is great, right?) The selfie camera is a 20MP one.
The phone is powered by the latest and greatest, Snapdragon 855, which is an octacore CPU based on the more efficient 7nm process. It has the updated Adreno 640 GPU which as we know by now should be one of the best mobile GPUs on the market today.
The Mi 9 ships with a 3300mAh battery which seems rather tiny but it has fast wireless charging upto 20W and a bundled 27W wall charger.
The base version of the Mi 9 will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that will go for $445; the other version will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and will go for $490. These will be available in blue, violet and black colour options. However, there will be a version with a transparent cover at the back which will have a whopping 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and will go for $600.
This beauty is not yet in market but Xiaomi promised that it will soon hit the market.
