Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali has moved a motion in parliaments seeking to scrap hospital bills for patients who die while receiving treatment in all public hospitals.
According to the Member of Parliament, the move will help relieve the burden on poor Kenyans.
While moving the motion on the floor of the house Wednesday, the Nyali MP termed the refusal by hospitals to release bodies due to pending bills as unconstitutional and cruel.
He also lamented that mortuary fees is also very high for mwananchi.
The young MP has also proposed that health sector reverts back to the National government arguing that county governments have failed to deliver.
He further wants the health commission established to run the health sector in the country.
