A touching video clip of a young boy narrating how he was kicked out of a birthday party for being untidy has been doing rounds on social media since Monday morning. I personally came through the video on facebook, just busy minding my business, and here I was playing the clip. I don’t know if it’s just me, or whenever I come across a video with a sort of ‘African setting’, I am usually intrigued to know what it is about. Is there a time you do that too? Like you are supporting one of your own, even when it turns out the video was in bad taste?
So apparently the boy identified as Mbugua recounted how he missed sweets, juice and cakes and the undisclosed party. He was allegedly the odd one out because he was ‘unkempt’. He was ejected. The boy could not understand why he was disliked.

A Kameme FM Comedian Muthee Kiengei marshalled friends and fans on social media to contribute to get him a similar treat, clothes and a bicycle that his grandmother said has been his desire.
“He keeps on chasing lucky kids who own bicycles” his grandmother was quoted as saying.
