A man has seen alot of changes within a day after demonstrating more than true affection and love for his family during a trying time that managed to land him in the tight hands of the law.
Boniface Murage however on Tuesday got freed on a three month suspended sentence. This means Murage is free but should not commit any offence in the three months of he will serve the sentence.
He was arrested on Sunday by Lavington security guards when he tried to smuggle his one an a half year old daughter from Kenyatta National Hospital after the bill of ksh 56,000 turned out to be too much for him to afford.
Boniface admitted being happy with the ruling.
Nairobi governor mike Sonko on Monday led his team to Kenyatta National hospital and cleared medical bill his wife and her baby amounting to Sh56, 937. Sonko had also promised to secure a lawyer for the child’s father at his cost to enable his freedom.
Murage who is jobless said Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has promised to offer him employment to help his family.
“I know that my life will change after this promise from the Governor. I am grateful,” he added.
